Charlotte Gainsbourg est en couverture du magazine  Interview Russia and Interview Germany du mois de septembre 2013.
Resplendissante ! A l’intérieur, on peut dire qu’elle n’a peur de rien.

Extraits….

AITKEN : But what is acting for you?

GAINSBOURG : I’m acting all the time. Seriously. I can hear myself talking to you now and it’s already acting. I hate realizing that about myself.

AITKEN : In terms of art it is very uncertain if there is any differentiation between fiction and non-fiction. Where does the border lie?

GAINSBOURG : No idea. Do you think you can be authentic enough yourself?

AITKEN : I don’t know.

GAINSBOURG : Because I think I can’t. For instance, I have to fight politeness all the time, because I find it prevents you from being who you are.

AITKEN : So there is a ferocious she-wolf underneath your sheep’s clothing?

GAINSBOURG : Precisely! (laghs)

AITKEN : Release the beast! When did you start acting?

GAINSBOURG : When I was 12. My mother would always take me on her shoots. She was in a film called La Pirate, which had a girl only a few years older than me. Apparently I looked at her with such fierce eyes and jealousy that my mother realised at once that I was interested. She wrote a note later that year, saying, “They’re looking for a girl your age, you should go.” She didn’t say anything aloud so that there would be no pressure, but she meant it. I saw the note coming back from school and then went and made these tests.
